Honest Review Of Judwaa 2 : Read This Before You Plan To Book Your Tickets

Judwaa 2 is being appreciated by one and all. Varun Dhawan along with other co-stars have shown a fabulous performance and this is the reason why the movie is being well received. Varun Dhawan has the capability of defeating the Khans and he’s rightly got the tag of “Hit machine”

David Dhawan films and it’s no different in Judwaa 2, that features his own son and popular actor Varun Dhawan, who pulls this double role with so much ease. Judwaa, that released in 1997, became a huge hit back then for the obvious reasons of Salman Khan’s double role, perfect comic timing, and the peppy music. However, Judwaa 2 is an absolute reboot of the first one, but it is ridiculously entertaining.

The story of Judwaa 2

The story is humorous throughout. It revolves around twins Raja and Prem who are separated at birth. There’s total contrast in their lifestyles; while Prem gets the privilege of a hi-fi and a luxurious lifestyle, Raja grows up in a fisherman colony.

Rajeev Malhotra (Sachin Khedekar) and Ankita (Prachi Shah Pandya) give birth to twins — Prem (Varun Dhawan) and Raja (Varun Dhawan) — but unfortunately, a local goon, Charles, run off with a newborn Raja, escaping the cops. He leaves him on the railway tracks and vanishes. A Maharashtrian woman finds Raja and decides to raise him. Raja is bold, fearless and violent. He is living his life with his brother Nandu (Rajpal Yadav) after his mother dies.

Music of Judwaa 2, “Chalti hai kya 9 se 12” refreshes that 90’s feelings once again. We have already danced to its tunes before and once again, this foot-tapping song has made an entry to the sequel. And “Oonchi hai building”, which has further entertained the audiences. If that’s not that enough, we also have “Duniya Mein Aaye ho” song for all party lovers of Judwaa 2.

Everything was dependant on Varun Dhawan & he really did justice to his role. However, he couldn’t match up to the Salman Khan level. Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu tried their best to fit into this comic role but sadly, they couldn’t give their 100 percent.

As we already told you, there’s no newness in the film. David Dhawan has not managed to give his best in terms of direction. Many situations are left confused; instead, they could have been crystal clear. The climax scene is good and is being enjoyed by one and all. David Dhawan should have tried to go away from originality and should have come up with something new.
